Our Eichler Kitchen Remodel
After seven long months of demolition and re-building (while living in the chaos with two kids in parallel), we eventually completed our extensive Kitchen renovation and were quite thrilled (and tired!)
Here was our Eichler when we first purchased it; the home had been significantly altered away from original Eichler style and features, so while we knew there were great original bones underneath all that "stuff", it would take us several months to plan how we would eventually transform the space.
BEFORE
AFTER
The final kitchen design features IKEA cabinetry paired with custom Walnut veneer doors from our friends and partners at Semihandmade Doors and our custom backsplash design through our wonderful partners at Fireclay Tile.
The most challenging, but rewarding of projects we tackled was the forming and creation of our concrete island and countertops.
